D&V's Honeymoon Pictures

We would like to share the pictures from our relaxing, rejuvenating, and memorable honeymoon in the US Virgin Islands. We stayed for 5 nights at the quaint Island of St. John. We then spent the last few nights in St. Thomas.

The story behind the engagement.

My [Dave] favorite movie is Rocky. In the begining of Rocky II, Rocky asks Adrian to spend the next 40 or 50 years with him. So with the help of my friend Saul to convince me to go to the Philadelphia Zoo instead of Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, I bought 2 tickets to Philadelphia. I brought Veronica to the same spot where Rocky proposed to Adrian, we were both looking for the exact spot from the movie playing on my PSP. We then found a nice quiet spot and I proposed. Veronica gave me a punch and a big hug and kiss, then said "yes". Here are some photos.

How we met

We met at a mutual friends apartment for a post anti-Valentines party. I brought the same bottle of wine that Veronica brought, Beaujolais. She ran out of wine and I reluctantly shared one of my two bottles with her. She then gave me here pager number, wow blast from the past, and the rest is history.
